Libellules d'Algérie

Les premières Libellules d'Algérie correspondent à quelques descriptions nouvelles de de Selys Longchamps dans l'ouvrage de Lucas (1849), ainsi qu'à quelques synonymes principalement liés à des hésitation de fusion d'espèces européennes avec celles d'Afrique du Nord. Notons que cet ouvrage fait référence régulièrement au Lac d'Houbeira connu aujourd'hui sous Lac d'Oubeira. Il traite de plus du Lac Tonga vers le cercle de Lacalle. Un peu plus de trente espèces sont citées ou décrites alors.
63 espèces (García & al. 2010), 64 espèces (Taleb & al. 2022).
