Localité-type - Mont Panié (alt. 900 m), Nouvelle Calédonie, ♂ et ♀ récoltés le 27 janvier 1988 par Jean Legrand [leg col. G.Fleck (Earth-safe), Lagorce (Ardèche - France)] (Fleck 2024).

Commentaires

La description de cette nouvelle espèce, est accompagnée par une réhabilitation du genre Calesynthemis par Fleck (2024), genre qui avait été écartée antérieurement par la communauté odonatologique [23 janvier 2024].
