Commentaires
Il n'y a pas d'informations sur la position phylogénétique de cette espèce (Deliry 2020). J'ai traité un temps Somatochlora nepalensis comme une bonne espèce. Elle est au Népal et ne semble connue que par la collection type (Deliry 2020), mais elle est placée comme synonyme de Somatochlora daviesi sur la WOL. Aussi pourrait-il s'agir d'une bonne espèce, non attribuable clairement : nomen dubium (com., 24 février 2025).
Répartition
- Inde (Lieftinck 1977, Steinmann 1997 ; connue par la série type récoltée en 1969 dans les collines de Khasi : UICN [2020] in Deliry 2020, à rechercher dans le secteur de Meghalaya).
- Népal (nepalensis : Asahina 1982 ; sous nepalensis et sous daviesi : Deliry 2020).
Habitats
Inconnu (Deliry 2020), il s'agit de sites d'altitude (UICN [2020]).
