Un réexamen et une discussion au sujet des mentions du genre Protosticta Selys, 1885 du Laos sont fournis. Protosticta ngoai Phan & Kompier, 2016 et Protosticta spinosa Phan & Kompier, 2016 sont signalés pour la première fois au Laos. Protosticta curiosa Fraser, 1934 [recte hic] est placé comme synonyme junior de Protosticta trilobata Fraser, 1933. Le groupe Protosticta curiosa doit désormais être appelé le groupe Protosticta trilobata.

Abstract
A re-examination and discussion of the records of the genus Protosticta Selys, 1885 of Laos is provided. Protosticta ngoai Phan and Kompier, 2016 and Protosticta spinosa Phan and Kompier, 2016 are reported for the first time from Laos. Protosticta curiosa Fraser, 1934 [recte hic] is assigned as junior synonym of Protosticta trilobata Fraser, 1933. The Protosticta curiosa-group should henceforth be referred to as the Protosticta trilobata-group.
