Ce genre est habituellement placé dans la famille des Corduliidae (Dijkstra & al. 2013, Goodman & al. 2025, Paulson & al. 2025). Aucune famille ne lui est attribuée (inc. sedis) par divers auteurs. Je propose celle des Hemicorduliidae ici (com., 12 octobre 2025).
