Commentaires
Goodman & al. (2025) fondent cette nouvelle famille formée des genres Aeschnosoma, Libellulosoma, Pentathemis et Schizocordulia[1] intégrée à la suite dans la Classification phylogénétique, placée de la super-famille adéquate des Libelluloidea s.str. (com., 14 octobre 2025). De la même manière, elle est intégrée dans la foulée, dans la Classification officielle au sein des Libelluloidea s.l. (Paulson & al. [2025]).
