Commentaires

Restaurée en 2014 (Deliry 2014, 2018) sous le nom d'Idionychidae, cette famille ne comprend que deux genres : Idionyx et Macromidia. Elle famille comprend en outre le genre fossile Mioidionyx Nel & al., 2005 Ŧ, monospécifique avec Mioidionyx stavropolensis Nel & al., 2005 Ŧ. Elle n'a pas d'équivalent dans la Classification officielle. Goodman & al. (2025) restaurent de même, cette famille en ajustant son contenu à un seule genre actuel : Idionyx. Ces auteurs forgent pour le genre Macromidia, une nouvelle famille adéquate, les Macromidiidae (com., 14 octobre 2025).

Le genre Macromidia est basculé dans la nouvelle famille propre des Macromidiidae (com., 14 octobre 2025).
