Commentaires

Bien que Somatochlora lingyinensis Zhou & Wei, 1979 ait été mise en synonymie selon la version 2024 de la WOL (Paulson & al. [2024]), je maintien ce taxon qui diverge par sa géographie (Chine) comme une espèce à considérer, tout en lui attribuant la notion de nomen dubium (com., 25 février 2025).

Somatochlora viridiaenea est bien distincte phylogénétiquement des autres Somatochlora (Letsch & al. 2016, Kohli & al. 2018). Je la place, sur l'examen de l'arbre phylogénétique de Goodman & al. (2025), dans le nouveau genre Sinochlora (com., 12 octobre 2025).

Répartition

• Japon (Hokkaïdo : Ulher 1858).
• Corée (Deliry 2020).
• Russie (Mandchourie : Deliry 2020).

Cette espèce est connue au Japon, ainsi qu'en Russie mandchoue et elle est indiquée en Corée (Deliry 2020).

Phénologie

Période de vol apparemment courte : juillet à septembre (iNaturalist [2020]).
