Éléments de description

De nouvelles méthodes de détermination sont proposées pour séparer cette espèce (cf. Perithemis mooma) de Perithemis icteroptera basées sur des calculs d'éléments de géométrie alaire (Tarrís-Samaniego & al. 2023).

• Brésil (mooma : Sud : Tarrís-Samaniego & al. 2023).

Sous Perithemis mooma (syn.), vit en sympatrie avec la proche espèce Perithemis icteroptera depuis le sud du Brésil au cœur de l'Argentine.
