Gomphomacromia Brauer, 1864

Placement dans la systématique

Le placement systématique de ce genre a subit de nombreuses hésitations, toutefois des recherches récentes sont en faveur de son classement dans la famille des Synthemistidae (Fraser 1958, Carle 1995, von Ellerieder 2000, Garrisson & al. 2006, Theischinger & Endersby 2009 d'après Tennessen 2024) : Carle & al. (2015), Bybee & al. (2021). Je reste pour l'instant, et, faute de meilleure vérification immédiate, à le ranger dans les Gomphomacromiidae (com., 11 août 2024) : [A vérifier !].

Répartition

Les espèces de ce genre se trouvent en Amérique du Sud, au niveau des Andes, depuis la Colombie au sud de l'Argentine et du Chili (Tennesseen 2024).
