Commentaires - Outre que la publication n'est pas valide au sens de l'ICZN, la proposition d'une nouvelle espèce proche de Sympetrum sanguineum sous le nom de Sympetrum bigeminus par Babalean (2022), notamment sur la base de distinctions propres au ♀, alors que les ♂ des deux taxons seraient confondus, n'est pas recevable en absence de comparaison avec Sympetrum sanguineum et mélanges avec une autre espèces (voir fig.3.8) (hic 2022).
