Commentaires

Perkins (1899) qui connaît le genre Megalagrion de MacLachlan (considéré pour Agrion blackburni et Agrion oceanicum) ne le retient pas en raison de la variation constatée pour la nervation alaire. Les autres espèces, dont certaines attribuées désormais aux Megalagrion de sa liste restent rangées dans le genre Agrion.
