Nous précisons cette famille ainsi (Deliry 2018) :
- Rhinocyphinae Bechly, 1996 : Disparoneura, Sundacypha, Rhinocypha et en situation incertae sedis, Cyrano.
- Libellagininae Jacobson & Bianchi, 1905
- Indocyphini (tribu nov., proposée en 2014 - Deliry 2014) : plaçant le genre Indocypha jusqu'alors en situation plus ou moins incertae sedis.
- Chlorocyphini Cowley, 1937 : Stenocypha, Chlorocypha, Platycypha, Africocypha
- Libellaginini Jacobson & Bianchi, 1905 : Melanocypha, Libellago, Sclerocypha, Pachycypha et en situation inc. sedis : Waruwila.
- Aristocyphini (tribu nov., proposée en 2014 - Deliry 2014) : Heliocypha, Aristocypha et en situation inc.sedis, Calocypha.
Les espèces semblent mélangées dans l'arbre présenté par Dijkstra & al. (2014), plusieurs genres tels que proposés actuellement ne sont pas monophylétiques (voir Deliry 2018).
