			Les {{f}} d'[[Odonates]] sont, en général, historiquement négligées dans les descriptions taxonomiques en ce qui concerne leur morphologie, ce qui les prive d'informations essentielles telles que la définition de caractères diagnostiques fiables qui permettent l'identification des {{f}} sans association avec les {{m}}. Avec l'objectif général de collaborer à l'avancement des connaissances taxonomiques des {{f}} dans l'ordre, en établissant des caractères diagnostiques fiables et en revisitant les espèces, cette thèse avait les objectifs spécifiques suivants : révision des genres néotropicaux ''[[Franciscobasis]]'' Machado & Bedê et ''[[Minagrion]]'' Santos ; description des changements ontogénétiques de coloration chez les {{f}} d{{'}}''[[Ischnura capreolus]]'' ; description de {{f}} inconnues avec des caractères diagnostiques optimisés qui permettent leur identification en l'absence de {{m}} ; description d'espèces nouvelles pour la science. Les résultats présentés ici jettent un nouvel éclairage sur l'importance de diagnostiquer et de décrire correctement les femelles chez les odonates, en modifiant le paradigme de la coloration comme caractère diagnostique, et en augmentant l'information taxonomique grâce à une évaluation morphologique et intégrative complète, le tout corroboré par des preuves.
