Commentaires

Restaurée en 2014 (Deliry 2014, 2018) sous le nom d'Idionychidae, cette famille ne comprend que deux genres : Idionyx et Macromidia. Elle comprend en outre le genre fossile Mioidionyx Nel & al., 2005 Ŧ, monospécifique avec Mioidionyx stavropolensis Nel & al., 2005 Ŧ. Elle n'a pas d'équivalent dans la Classification officielle, sauf que Goodman & al. (2025) restaurent à ma manière, cette famille en ajustant son contenu à un seule genre actuel : Idionyx. Paulson & al. ([2025]) se rangent finalement à cette option aussi pour la Classification officielle (com., 20 décembre 2025). Goodman & al. (2025) forgent pour le genre Macromidia, une nouvelle famille adéquate, les Macromidiidae (com., 14 octobre 2025).
